Ringing The Bell by Raghav Ralhan.
'Deep down we are aware of things that are wrong around us or maybe unknowingly even we are a part of. It all comes down to what we can do about it'
- 'Ringing The Bell' by Raghav Ralhan.
'Ringing the Bell' by Raghav Ralhan is a non fiction work that I read recently, This book is an informative work that deals with the problems around us and how we are being indifferent inspite of so much awareness we get via education, education gives us knowledge, enlightens us and makes us aware of the problems around us, nonetheless we are still indifferent to the serious issues in the society.
We have learned about a lot of things via education, Are we really implementing those learnings in real life to help the people around us? Are we following any significant methods to save our environment? 'Ringing The Bell' reminds us some serious issues that are happening around us!
This book talks about some important topics with effective titles like ethical consumerism, Voluntourism, Throw Away Culture etc., It covers the ideas that we can implement to save the people around us from hunger, to save our environment and to preserve harmony.
Though we are vocal about environmental and social issues, most of us are not really caring about all these things in real life. We are getting educated, getting aware of things and voicing out in social media, 'Implementing it in real life' is always a big question mark!
The author has written this book in a responsible note. Some information and awareness aren't new to us, but the author reminds us of our responsibility in an effective way, I finished reading this book in one sitting because of his efficacious writing style. Every page reflects and remind us of our social responsibility. If you are looking for an informative read for #nonfictionnovember then I would recommend you 'Ringing The Bell' by Raghav Rahlan.
Are you really following the things that you are voicing out in social media?
