Big Fat Books!

A treatise to my chubbiest sweethearts,

It is hard to carry you everywhere I go, but that is okay, you are my positive pillow. Sometimes, I decide to DNF you, I know that you can read my mind, you glare at me from the corner of my shelf and I will pick you again affectionately. 

I caress your spine and hold you beautifully when I lie on my couch, anyway, you don’t care and furiously fall on my face. 

I feel very proud when I finish reading you, I feel like a superwoman, I want to tell these mortals about my superpower, but you smile at me mockingly because you know that I don’t even remember all the characters, I skipped the tedious chapters and consoled you by justifying my action as a ‘Wonderful Guilty Pleasure’ in reading big fat books.

You and I have a whimsical bonding, we both don’t get along with each other often, but when we do, we drive all my books up the wall! You are a water tight universe in disguise, hoarding so many temperaments inside and still you are feigning and posing like a recluse. 

At times, your hard embellished spine tempts me, but I don’t prefer this version of you, because your expensive irresistible spine intimidates me about the pain you will cause when you fall on my couch potato face. 

I could have watched a movie adaptation or series adaptation of you, but but...our bond is intricate, I want you to tell me everything, literally everything, so no matter what,  I won’t stop buying you because you are my chubbiest sweetheart! And I am proud to be a big fat books philic!!!
