Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.
BOOK TALKS.
I love Eleanor Oliphant because she deserves it❤
Not a review🍂
Let us talk about Eleanor Oliphant!
You might hate eleanor because she is delusional, vulnerable, she doesn't have friends, she loves inanimate objects, Nah wait! She prefers plants to human beings when it comes to animate objects.
Though I have already reviewed 'Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine' by Gail Honey man,
I really feel like talking about this book once again! I always felt that opening up to people is scary until I read this gem! We might have encountered many eleanors in our life. The timid little boy/girl in our school, who doesn't talk with anyone, who sits alone to eat their lunch, the faint hearted introvert colleague who dresses shabbily and tries hard to be a perfectionist, and that old college friend who is known for his/her timorous nature and whom you almost forgot until you saw your graduation photos.
We would have never cared about them, because we are always afraid of odds. We find them annoying and boring.
Eleanor is one such poor creature, who gets ridiculed because of her strange behaviour. She overthinks and hallucinates. When she discerns the truth and realises about her hallucinations, she becomes anxious and experiences panic attacks. She stays quiet, rigid and suffocates amidst the busy, indifferent normal people.
Eventually, strong Eleanor survives, she inhales the fresh air, she comes out of her cage. Do you think this happened all of a sudden? No! People listened to her, she opened up, like a bud bloomed happily, like a bird fluttered and escaped from the golden cage. She had a rescuer! Eleanor Oliphant was rescued because she had a rescuer. There are many Eleanors who are afraid of us, afraid of so called normal human beings, let us be their rescuers.
Recommending this amazing fiction about mental health to all bookish sweethearts❤
