Here, There and Everywhere by Sudha Murthy.

"If at all I am helping anyone today, it is because of the teachings of those simple souls. I did not learn them in any school or college"

- 'Here, There and Everywhere' by Sudha Murthy.

There are so many stories around us, stories of transformation, stories of persistence, hard work, compassion and various tales of human relationships. Sudha Murthy weaves the stories of common people into a beautiful book!

'Here, There, Everywhere' is a compilation of the sweet, soothing, pleasant incidents that happened in Sudha Murthy's life. Sudha Murthy is one of my favourite Indian writers, I have seen many debut authors who write complicated plots with purple prose, some readers can only resonate with the emotions in intense literary fictions, but Sudha Murthy's writing style is tranquilizing for every reader!

Every story is penned in an optimistic tone. Sudha Murthy has narrated the stories of the people she has met in her life, she has also narrated the beautiful and painful moments with positive endings. I felt like listening to the stories of my mother. I was admiring her innocent smile in the cover for almost ten minutes! All stories reflected her innocence and pure thoughts. The best value, I learned in this book is philanthropy, being a philanthropist, she has narrated her experiences, I admire how pleasantly Murthy has weaved every story.

'Bombay to Bangalore', 'Three Thousand Stitches', 'How I taught my Grandmother to Read' are my favorite stories in this compilation. This book is a celebration of her literary life, I genuinely enjoyed the simple narration and exquisite storylines.

This book is close to my heart for so many reasons, significantly because of the cover! If you haven't read her books yet, then I would suggest you to pick 'Mahaswetha' up, if you are interested in reading the beautiful occurrences in Sudha Murthy's life, then you can choose 'Here, There and Everywhere', this book would be a great read for #nonfictionnovember

Recommending this book for everyone, especially for the children, to learn great values from her life! The language is simple and lucid for every reader 🌻
