The genre of ‘You Never Know’ by Akash Verma is a murder mystery, though the cover gives us a spooky feeling, the story line moves with a smooth love triangle. 

The story line revolves around the three prominent characters Anuradha, Dhruv and Anuradha’s deceased lover Sid. The initial point of the novel moves with the character Dhruv who goes to mussorie to find Sid’s mobile. The readers can’t understand what is the relationship between Dhruv and Sid, but when the story progresses the readers can understand Dhruv falls in love with Anuradha and his extra marital affair leads him to enter into a shithole and he faces numerous problems. 

How is he gonna untangle the threads? This is the plot line of ‘I Never Know’ by Akash Verma.

The story line is very fast paced, the fast paced thriller lovers would love it. The author has sketched the prominent characters from each character’s perspective.  I felt that most of the characters in this novel are self centered and emotionally very weak. The men in this novel are deeply lacking morals including the protagonist and the antagonist. The narration is not stretched with purple prose, so it is quite intriguing. I would like to recommend this book for beginners who love reading monotonous fast paced thriller🌻❤
