SHORT ANALYSIS OF "LAWN" BY NISSIM EZEKEIL.
ANIMISM:
Animism is an attribution of living source to the plants. Ezekeil has penned the botanical turmoil about how the grass grows in the lawn. He had introduced a significant idea of "Animism".

The grass grows on the surface of the earth. This is a habitual scenario, the poet has personified the earth and introduced animism theme on the growth of grass in the surface. The theory he used can also be compared with the endurance of the earth. The poet tells the readers how they should have patience to view the wonder of nature.
MYSTERY OF THE NATURE.

This line shows the human nature. Their desire is quenched only when their expectancy gets satisfied. So here, the poet implies the grass' long growth in length, When human desires grow beyond its limit, it gets trimmed by the Supreme nature like how gardener cuts the grass.
